3d Printing

***Please read ALL of the below sections before submitting a form. Serving Colorado only, primarily greater Denver area.***

Provide 3d model in the .STL or .3MF file format and I will print it for you. Prices depend on complexity and material used. Bulk rates can also be accommodated. Businesses and individuals are all welcome to submit requests. I have ASA available for fully functional, durable, engineering grade prints as well as TPU for gaskets and softer materials. In addition, I have standard PLA for prototype and aesthetic projects.

DISCLAIMER

If a model is poorly designed, no amount of 3d printing will make it functional. I am not responsible for prints that are not structurally sound as a result of poor engineering.

LIMITATIONS

Max print size is 265mm x 265mm x 265mm or 10in x 10in x 10in. If printing with TPU, max print size is 8in x 8in x 8in as a different size printer is used for that material. Please keep your file within these limits. Prints any larger will have to be split into parts.

I encourage businesses of all sizes to submit print requests.

Rates can be negotiated if orders are large enough. Small production runs can be accommodated. Completion time is highly dependent on complexity and number of prints needed. Cost and time estimations will be provided upon reception of files.

Given my educational background in product design, I can be consulted for design considerations regarding human usability if needed.

All iterative projects are welcome.

Available Materials

  • PLA

    One of the most commonly 3d printing filaments. Good for prototypes that will not be put under a lot of stress, as well as aesthetic projects. Most projects unless specifically asked for otherwise will be printed in this material.

  • PETG

    More durable than PLA, as well as more heat resistant. Generally used for more resilient prototypes and products than one could get away with using PLA.

  • ASA

    The strongest filament I have available to print. Stronger than PETG, and much more durable for outdoor applications.

  • TPU 95A

    Flexible material, commonly prints at higher temps than PLA. Hardness can be compared to a shopping cart wheel. Due to the stretchy nature of the filament, stringing and drooping can occur especially without supports.

  • TPU 85A

    A softer, even more flexible version of TPU. A thick rubber band would be a good hardness comparison. Hardness can be compared to a shopping cart wheel. Due to the stretchy nature of the filament, stringing and drooping can occur especially without supports.
